POKOTABI / Rosender
ロセンダー
Rosendā, in Minami-Magome, Ōta City, opens at 7am for breakfast. Its nostalgic coffee-shop menu includes a mixed ham-and-egg sandwich and hot dogs.
01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
Open from 7am, Rosendā retains the feel of an old-fashioned Japanese coffee shop. Look for the sign with a blue cup; inside, a quiet room is arranged with counter and table seating.
A familiar light meal here is the mixed sandwich, served half with ham and half with egg. The egg is soft and the ham has a simple, comforting flavour, making the pair an easy choice alongside coffee. There are plenty of toasted-bread options too, including hot dogs cut into easy-to-eat pieces, pizza toast and tuna toast.
In the morning, breakfast options include toast and egg. It is a peaceful place to pause before work or during a walk. A touch of old-school coffee-shop custom is the iced coffee, which is served sweetened from the outset.
